analysisMicrosoft has released several new AI models under the "mai" series, including mai-cyber-1-flash and multiple image-generation models. According to LM Arena benchmarks (2026-08-07), the mai-image-2.5 model demonstrates strong performance, ranking 3rd in overall image editing and placing in the top 10 for various text-to-image tasks like art and cartoon generation. The earlier mai-image-1 and mai-image-2 models also appear, with lower rankings.
