Microsoft update 🧪 GitHub Copilot CLI's newest preview build (1.0.101, out yesterday evening) adds a plain mai-code-2 to its built-in model list, next to the mai-code-2-flash we found on Friday. It also adds mai-experimental-internal and more internal MAI-Code-1 Flash test slots. Microsoft hasn't announced MAI-Code-2.
